Rythu Bandhu Scheme also known as Agriculture Investment Support Scheme was started by Telangana Government to support 70 lakhs farmers with disbursement of Rs. 7,720.29 crore. Additional to this 5 lakhs new farmers account were added for this scheme in which 1.5 lakh Podu farmers who own around 4 lakh acres of Podu land are included. Rythu Bandhu Scheme Telangana Eligibility Criteria
To Be eligible for Rythu Bandhu Scheme farmers of the state must met this following criteria.
- The farmer Must be permanent Resident of Telangana State
- The farmer Must own agriculture land in the state
- All farmers are eligible for the scheme such as small and marginal farmers and farmers who cultivating the land in the forest (majority from Scheduled Tribe communities) having a Record of Forest Rights (ROFR) document
- Farmer who do agriculture commercial are not eligible for this scheme
- Rental farmers or tenant farmers are also not eligible for this scheme

It will be like you will get rs 5000 per acer per crop season. Rabi and Kharif seasons are the season you can claim the amount and there is no limp or cap on the number of acres for each farmer.
