National Space Day is declared on 23rd August 2023 to commemorate the success of India’s -3 Mission.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi declared 23 August as National Space Day at ISRO Control Centre, Bengaluru while meeting the team behind successful execution of -3 mission.

The prime minister was addressing the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientists at the ISRO command centre in Bengaluru.
